Made with KBS Ragin' Cajun
We wanted to mix things up a bit and what better way than with a easy family style recipe that packs a punch. This healthy and simple recipe is made with four unlikely ingredients and our organic KBS Ragin' Cajun Blend. Season to taste but more spice means more heat so use with caution if you're cooking for folks with mild pallets.
Cook Time: 20 Minutes
Serves: 2 to 3 - Serve Family Style
Ingredients for Cajun Medley:
- 2 pounds Sauerkraut
-4 ears of corn, cut into halfs
-12 littlenecj clams
- 1/2 pound kielbasa link, cut into quarters
- Several dashes of KBS Ragin' Cajun
Directions for Cajun Medley:
1.) Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Make sure there is enough room for corn, clams, and sausage or boil in separate smaller pots if necessary. Add corn and sausage once water is to a boil and cover with a tight fitting lid. After about 8 minutes add clams to the water and cook for another 5 to 8 minutes. When clams naturally open up you will know they are ready.
2.) While your sausage, corn, and clams cook add sauerkraut to a saute pan and cook on medium heat heat for 4 to 5 minutes or until warm. Season kraut generously with KBS Ragin' Cajun blend.
3.) Drain your clams, corn, and sausage and add to the top of kraut.
